Postup zprovoznění pod Linuxem

  • enablovat v jadre modul zd1211rw
  • stahnout firmware napr. zde: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=129083
  • nakopirovat soubory firmware do /lib/firmware/zd1211
  • nainstalovat a nakonfigurovat wpa_supplicant daemon - lze pouzit wpa_supplicant -Dwext

    Funguje spolehlive i se WPA/WPA2. Suspend/resume bez problemu.

    Na mem Debianu:
    auto eth2
    allow-hotplug eth2
    iface eth2 inet dhcp
      wpa-conf /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
    
  • Poznámka

    Mozna trosku mene citlivy ve srovani s integrovanou Wifi kartou v napr. notebooku. Jinak cca mesic provozu bez problemu. Ad-hoc mode ani AP mode netestovano.
