    LibreOffice 24.8 bude vydán jako finální v srpnu 2024, přičemž LibreOffice 24.8 Alpha1 je první předběžnou verzí od začátku vývoje verze 24.8 v prosinci 2023. Od té doby bylo do úložiště kódu odesláno 4448 commitů a více než 667 chyb bylo v Bugzille nastaveno jako opravené. Nové funkce obsažené v této verzi LibreOffice najdete v poznámkách k vydání.

    Postup zprovoznění pod Linuxem

    Testováno v LinuxMint 12.

    Grafika se svobodnými ovladači funguje spolehlivě (samozřejmě bez 3D a akcelerace videa). Pro zprovoznění grafické akcelerace je třeba nainstalovat uzavřené ovladače ATI (min. catalyst 11.12), podporu UVD2 a zapnout vsync.

    Postupoval jsem dle tohoto návodu.

    Poznámka

    Deska obsahuje ASM1083 PCIe-PCI ,takže při osazení PCI karet můžou nastat komplikace s IRQ . Našel jsem pár patchů ,které jsem ovšem ještě neotestoval (úplně neřeší problém , jen je deska použitelnější ) .Mě se to projevovalo při osazení Aver TV DVB-T Super 007 a TechniSat SkyStar 2 . Zkoušeno na debian Wheezy.
